I speak some Serbian which I learned in that country, and could also speak to Bosnians. I am not fluent by any means but hope to provide some resources for those who wish to learn Serbo-Croatian as a foreign language
Serbian is a member of a very close langauge group called Serbo-Croatian which is mutually intelligable between the langauges of Croatian, Bosnian, Serbian, and now Macedonian. Due to regional squabbles they do not want to be considered the same, and especially in Croatia there are even efforts to artificially distance their language from that spoken by Serbs. I learned in Serbia, so I will use Serbo-Croatian and Serbian interchangably. With malice towards none.
