The Battle of Stalingrad was the costliest battle in the world's largest war. It's difficult to get detailed information about this on the web.
One thing to note is that the only three ways that any German soldier survived the battle was either not being encircled by the Soviets, being airlifted out during the siege, or being a member of the 5% of the prisoners who survived the Soviet captivity. Looking at little abstract figures doesn't change that reality. There is not any confirmed report of any group of German soldiers escaping Stalingrad via land.
